soap cakes.

I got together with a very good friend of mine a while ago and we made soap 'Cakes' for a stall at a fete, we decided to give it a vintage look, the cakes ended up looking so real someone actually tried to eat one ( a strawberry tart! in fact). thankfully they were stopped in the nick of time!
We put the soaps out on doilies and china cake stands, it smelt great!

 More tea vicar?

Darling soap cakes and so clever! And that dress you made with the wrappers?! Wow. It's very much like something one would see on Project Runway (Heide Klum's show in the US. Have you heard of it?). By the way, LOVE your blog background! Fall is my absolute favorite season here.

Thanks for the lovely comments on my blog! So sweet of you!

I never knew that you could drool from soap! LOL They are just the "sweetest"!!! I also love your daughter's dress! How awesome is that! You certainly have lots of sweetness in your life! Your cakes are awesome too!!! Back in the 70's and 80's, I had a cake business. Did some elaborate wedding cakes back then and dragons too! Then had to give it up and moved to England when hubby was in the air force . I taught painting classes then and accidentally got into quilts and fiber arts by the time we got back to the US.

You know, you and I are a lot alike with the creative spirit. Of course you know I had to join your blog!
